Vulkan Arena presents:
In 2017, Blood Command was back in public with an album packed with cheeky and grandiose hits. Now they come to Vulkan Arena after selling John Dee last fall – here it’s going to be fast to be guaranteed a ticket!
After three albums, a series of EPs and four radio hits, Blood Command is more hungry for success than ever. The sound still has the distinct fingerprint of producer and songwriter Yngve Andersen: eaten enough to be challenged, but wide enough to make you feel like killing your hands in the weather and running out into the people’s sea. Andersen gained a great reputation as a successful producer, and is behind several monster hits, but Blood Command is and becomes his heartchild.
Blood Command’s return in 2017 showed a band that has never heard so well. Vocalist Karina Ljone is more sincere and more accurate than ever, the ninjariffs smoother, and drummer Sigurd Hakaas sets new standards in action drumming. It all comes with relentless stitches of murderous hooks. Does that sound strange? That’s because you have not heard the album yet! Blood Command’s third album has been titled Cult Drugs and was released in April 2017 on Physical Format.
